SERVICES

I offer a range of therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults, available both in person in Johannesburg North and online. Therapy sessions can be short-term or longer-term depending on your needs.

The initial phase of therapy focuses on building a clearer understanding of what has brought you here, including your current difficulties, broader context and what you hope for from the process. It is also a chance to get a sense of how we work together, and to think about what kind of intervention fits best.

Below is a brief outline of the services offered. For further information or enquiries, please feel free to get in touch.

Individual Therapy

Adults

One-on-one therapy for adults navigating a wide range of difficulties. Whether you're dealing with long-standing patterns, mood, trauma, substance use, anxiety, relationships, or a sense that something isn't quite right, this is a space to slow down and look more closely. The work may involve understanding underlying patterns, processing experiences, or making sense of thoughts and emotions that feel difficult to hold alone, at a pace that feels manageable.

Short-Long Term

Couples Therapy

Partnerships & Couples

Couples therapy is a space to look honestly at relational patterns - the dynamics that repeat, the things that go unsaid, and the ways partners can become stuck in familiar cycles. The aim is not to take sides, but to understand the relationship more clearly. From there, the work involves improving communication, increasing awareness of each partner’s experience, and creating the possibility for new ways of relating.

Adolescent Therapy

Teenagers

Adolescence brings its own particular pressures - identity, relationships, family, academic demands, and emotional intensity. Therapy offers a space separate from home and school, where these experiences can be explored without judgement. Young people often find it difficult to express what they are going through, particularly when feeling overwhelmed or misunderstood. Therapy supports greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the development of more workable ways of coping during this stage.

Group Therapy

Adolescents &  Adults

Group therapy offers something individual therapy cannot: the experience of being witnessed and understood by others navigating similar difficulties. Groups are small, carefully facilitated, and built around a shared focus or theme. Depending on the group, the work may be more exploratory and process-oriented, or incorporate structured, skills-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.

Play Therapy

Children

Children don’t always have words for what they’re experiencing. Play therapy uses play as the primary language of the work, allowing children to express, process, and make sense of their inner world in a way that feels natural to them. Through play, the therapist is able to understand the child’s experience and support emotional identification and expression, helping them work through difficulties and develop more adaptive ways of coping in a developmentally appropriate way.

Psychological Assessment

Adults, Adolescents & Children

Psychological assessment offers a structured way to help clarify a diagnosis, make sense of learning or cognitive difficulties, or build a fuller picture of psychological strengths and challenges. Evaluations may include neuropsychological, personality, and diagnostic components, depending on the question being asked, with clear, usable feedback at the end.

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
